It has been a while since I have visited the blog. My portraits have continued to happen every day, and the best ones I have found, or rather the most fulfilling, have been drawn from life. That is not, however, a surprise. My lovely wife has softened on the idea of having her portrait drawn, which is good, because at 10:00 at night, there are only a couple of options for me to work from. I also have found that the sketchbooks have been a great option instead of the single sheets of watercolor paper. Although the texture is smooth, I enjoy the tone of the paper and ease of carrying it around.

Long Time Coming
