Pump House Gallery - La Crosse, WI

Tuesday, February 26 - Saturday, March 15, 2008 at the Pump House Gallery in La Crosse, WI, I will be exhibiting my many portraits of my friends and family. I am very thankful to the people at the Pump House for the opportunity to share my work to Western Coast of the state of Wisconsin. The installation was a great success to brighten up the newly remodeled Pump House Regional Arts Center and I wish them a very hearty congratulations on 30 years as an arts center for the La Crosse and surrounding areas. The show will be coming down on Saturday the 15th of March, so please join me (and bring a friend) on Friday the 14th for the reception. I hope to see a lot of people there, old faces and new faces alike.

Contemporary Artist Network - CAN Forum Challenge - WINNER

We are pleased to announce the winner of 2007 CAN Forum Challenge. Reminiscent of Alex Katz's portraits of his wife Ada, and his New York society, Frank Korb's portraits break down faces into their most basic geometry. Large jig-sawed swaths of color magically reveal the personality of the subject - mainly friends and family of the artist.

Friday, January 18 and Saturday, January 19 Milwaukee's East Town and Historic Third Ward will be sponsoring it's 20 year old tradition of Gallery Night and Day. I will be at Urban Accents Gallery on Friday night for the reception. This quarterly event will have 57 venues throughout the downtown Milwaukee area to choose from. During the Gallery Night event there will be a free Xpress shuttle service to get you from one area of the city to another. This is a continual loop that has 5 stops (approximately every 15 minutes) and will run from 5 - 9pm.
